The Aero Precision scope mount I have seen a few of you using seems to be a nice light weight option but I am seeing a few problems with them cracking?
Anyone here have any issues with these or is it just "my uncles best friends brother" had an issue?
Thegman, I have seen several scopes on your builds, one looks like a Leopold and maybe a SWFA?
I am looking at the Trijicon accupoint 3-9x40, what is working best for you on this type of rifle?
I am using a Trijicon Accupoint 3x9 on another rifle and have decided to buy another for this build, what are you guys using for rings on these flat tops? Do not really want to use one of the heavy cantilever mounts.
This is a 1 inch tube by the way.

Update.
I talked about my dislike for the Phillips 9040 series and Costco a few posts ago.

I went to lunch in a semi crowded...

I had the app on my phone with very limited controls, he messed with my app and...
The same as most of you, my Mom was a member, I started looking at the left wing garbage they were spewing and canceled it for her, I will look into AMAC.
I got my first good pair at Costco a few moths ago, I tried a couple of the Amazon sets but all they did was squeal badly.
The Costco 9040 series were great at first but after several visits to Costco for excessive back round noise I turned them in for a refund.
I would be in a restaurant with...
I bare shaft test with different weight field points to determine shaft size then tune for hunting season the same way with broadheads and practice blades.
I have 2 or three of just about every spine/size shaft out there in my arrow length to try in each new bow.
I started bowhunting in 1992 with a Hoyt compound. A good friend gave me a Damon Howatt hunter 50 pound recurve and I thought how nice it was not to have to deal with all the wheels, cables, sights and mechanical do da.
I have been through too many stick bows to remember since then but I now...
