Truck tire question for you all

I've got a little under 60k on terra grapplers and they still have a fair amount of life left. If I still lived in an area without snow, I would probably get another 10k or so out of them.

Let my ONx expire. Anyone using GoHunt? good and the bad?

I've never used OnX, but I've been using GoHunt for a few years and have been pleased overall. Mapping and features are decent, and they are continually coming out with new features such as the offline waypoint sharing that they just released. The GoHunt store partners with GovX so that could...

    New rifle

Between the two you mentioned, I'd go with the x-bolt and throw a trigger kit in it. But overall I'm with idahodave, shop around for a barely used higher end rifle and be thrilled shooting it for years.

    Let’s talk Broadheads!

I've tried a bunch of different Rage heads, standard three blade Muzzy, QAD, the list goes on. Shooting the Evolution Jekyll (fixed blade) and Evolution Hyde (hybrid expandable) this year. In my testing they've both flown the same as field tips out to 80. You can replace blades in each and...

I want to paint my house - roll/brush or spray?

Spray is the way. You might be able to rent a sprayer or find one a decent enough cheap one at Harbor Freight that would be well worth it.

How to not die on first trip?

Keep in mind that monsoon season runs through September so having a way to keep gear dry when the afternoon storms pop up will be helpful.

    Hello from Arizona!

I've been scouting 7W for OTC deer and have run across a couple decent bulls. Would be happy to share if you send a PM.

Fail enough, you just might figure it out

It might not make you a better hunter, but it's sure a lot more fun! That said, I still get out there with the rifle/muzzleloader if that's the current season.

    Help a newbie?

Knight makes a few different really nice models that would likely be quicker than getting one custom built. My buddy has their Mountaineer and it's phenomenal. They're a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Climber or hang on with sticks for beginner?

I generally prefer a climber as I find it more comfortable than a lock on. But you could be very limited on tree selection as others have pointed out. But I typically use a saddle more than the climber these days.

    Another new guy from Ca

Having recently moved to AZ from GA, I relate to the foreign nature of mule deer! Way different hunt than the southern and midwestern whitetail I'm used to.

Looking for Hunting Partner OTC AZ Mulies

I recently moved to the Flagstaff area and am getting into western big game after being a midwest Whitetail guy for 20 something years. Couple hours away but would be interested in linking up and doing some learning together.
