Anyone find they would rather use a cheap replaceable blade knife over a high quality knife? I have a few Benchmade knife’s and idk I’m always worried of losing them. And those replaceable blades like the outdoor edge r cheap and good
So anyone find themselves going from one to the other?
New with tags. Only tried it on. Just not a harness guy. I like a more minimalist style to carry binoculars. Like most things Sitka it’s super cool though. Pockets for tools, wind indicators all over.
PayPal 120$ tyd f@f or I’ll cover fees since im a newer member. I have a good reputation on...
This might help, might not. I use a Tx5 suspension system and it’s great. I’d say the newer version of the lone wolf setup is okay, but can’t speak of it from experience buddy.
Maybe this is crazy coming from Ohioian. I’d like to go somewhere where the average deer is smaller in antler size. I think it would help me get back to just deer being fun!
From Ohio though so I’ll hit Ohio public. Kentucky early.
I’d like to find a place to be able to spot and stall...
Seems toppers are really liked here. Sleeping in them is my biggest question.
why sleep in your topper? When u could just put a tent beside your truck?
Asking because it would help me justify the cost of a topper thanks!
I’m a big stratus fan. I’d say mid to low 30’s is the cut off to where I’ll go to the fanatic series. Heavy base layer, first lite source jacket and the stratus jacket. Bibs helps to hold a little more heat and eliminate the draft around your waist. For bottoms heavy base layer and the Sitka...
Glad to see there’s some LWCG fans here aswell. .5 for me as a hybrid setup! Tethrd one sticks. Absolutely love the .5. Can’t recommend it enough. Even though the sticker price hurts a little
okay, reworded the post. Thanks for the input so far!
I’m not looking to start the heavy/light weight arrow debate.
I’m looking to see with your setup, your arrow weight. What your drops, margin of error is. Thanks!
I’m from Ohio so looking for some help/advice
I’ve never been out west and do worry about some of the roads in various states. Does a f150 limit you compared to something more off roading material like a jeep/tacoma? I’m assuming some of those roads get pretty rough
Anyone tests their bows and their pins for their margin of error in the pin? I have no idea if I’m working this right.
Meaning if you shoot a deer for 20 yards and he’s actually 24 yards what’s your extra drop?
Only this varies a ton but I one, challenge you to find this information out for...
Haven’t found a recent thread on these. Would like to hear from members who have had them for a while. Negatives are welcome too. I work around a ton of loud equipment, tools and I gotta protect my ears from guns/hobbies as well. Thanks!
Anyone use a upland vest when hunting squirrels, rabbits, dove. Any of that sorta thing. I know their big in the pheasant and so on world. Just seems like a nice piece of gear for hauling your harvested game around. Maybe some water, snacks, shells.
Anyone regret buying a Tacoma over a full sized truck?
I’m single but want a family and don’t want to have to buy another vehicle when I have one.
Wouldn’t mind the access cab for the 6’ bed but wouldn’t mind the double cab for the room in the back
Anyone hate the 5’ bed? Any opinions would...
Hey guys, first thread here. Got hooked on waterfowl hunting last year and trying to get stuff lined up for this year. But I’m trying to not get crazy with gear and spend a life savings.
I’ll be straight up and admit I’m a Sitka “weeny” or whatever. Really like the looks and idea of the Sitka...
