Barnes Precision match 140 stuff appears to be marked down to near $1/round at a number of online sources right now. I'd consider buying a pile of that if i were a 6.5 creedmoor factory shooter. It performed pretty well in this...
That is a benefit that it's already there on the plate and its not going to roll off the table while moving between positions. That little flat bag is just nice for glassing off of period. My only experience with NRL hunter is a 1 day where we watched all the other shooters and we rotated being...
A lot of hunters are sending a bullet or arrow if there is a chance it might kill the animal. That isn't a new thing. Until the last decade or so, there wasn't an unlimited count of people posting videos/pictures sharing that they killed such and such at 500 yards plus. IMO because of all this...
I've not used the various options enough to point definitively in one direction but my buddy has that SRS one and it worked well and I have the smaller/lighter LS wild one that comes with a flat bag for the same price https://www.lswild.com/store/p69/Ultralight_Plate_and_Bag.html

Good question. I'm assuming there is some kind of chemical reaction or degradation of the existing finish that turns sticky but might differ depending on the finish.
I've got a couple firearms with the duratouch or whatever browning used to put on them that was notorious for getting sticky but...
On the last s2h stocky's podcast episode they mentioned that they hadn't started on the x-bolt inlet and weren't sure on if it would require a different stock mold yet. I didn't get the impression a guy should count on stocky's x-bolt stocks being available soon.
BDLs are pretty cool when actually hunting. They suck if you're actually going to shoot the rifle a fair bit though and they suck in states like my home state where you can’t have the mag loaded in a vehicle. DBM like what browning does with the xbolt is perfect for hunting rifles. Perfectly...
That was my thought as well. It would be easy to test it now with current technology, no need for it to hit anything at the first "target".
Stolen from the hide:
Any lead bullet you'd want to shoot from a wsm, yes. There are probably some boutique heavy for caliber copper bullets that would require more twist but in that case their sleek lighter bullets are probably a good choice anyway.
If we call that value roughly 33% of the price of a new flagship bow, one would have to have a pretty high likelihood of needing a warranty for that to pencil out.
I'm a fan of buying 1-3 YO used bows for the savings.
