I got the Trader Joe’s instant coffee packs with creamer and sugar included based on others on the forum. They are good and will be bringing them with this next week.
Just upgraded to a Tikka T3x 300WM on an XLR chassis with a NF SHV 3x10 and a harvester evo suppressor. For how light it was it shot smoother then I could have imagined. I also shed several lbs over my old rifle.
The Born and Raised guys got me onto tortilla shells with Nutella, bacon bits and honey. It can be a bit messy, but it tastes awesome in the field and doesn't take up much room.
Echoing the Northern MN people, Northern WI is the same. There is a number of deer but mature bucks are limited with all the predators around. The bear population is pretty latge right now.
I am putting a NF shv 3x10 on a tikka t3x 300 WM and will have a suppressor on it as well. Are the UM rings still the best and if so at what height? Or am I better off doing a rail and say NF rings?
I love my exo pack especially the frame itself. I have some lower back problems and even hauling out 100 lbs plus I did not have any specific issues. Obviously it was heavy but the ergonomics on the exo are top notch and help a ton. Several other people I know feel the same way.
My group was told by a local in MT last year that if you get attacked by a grizz that you should make sure to shoot to kill. He said if they think there is any indication you were just trying to wound it that you were not in danger.
Anyone got anything to back that theory up?
Just remember that a cellphone booster needs at least a minimal signal to work. As we all know when you get back far enough there isn't any signal at all. As others have said a Inreach would be a better choice.
