use a dowel to drive the pinkish in, wet sand in between, repeat, it left a beautiful satin finish and the dowel pressure seals the surface pores
Have you heard of a wood finish , oil finish, that you slather on wet, then rub it in with a dowel rod? Not sure the whole process but it
drives the oil in deep and hardens The wood surface.?not sure the product used or how many coats sanded in between .

Success stories are easy to talk about. The way I see our society, we value instant gratification. New car, new clothes, electronic variants, sports tix , eating out etc.
Being a saver doesn’t get you any of that. It’s a slow process with no fanfare.
Also, do as much as you can yourself helps...
I did similar to a previous post, when I got a raise, say 3% , I would put 1.5% into my 401 k each pay
slowly, you’ll see thatyou are up to 20% in future savings
