Tri tip is never the wrong answer. Pork chops... Stuffed jalapeño wrapped in bacon, or sometimes I cut potatoes into bite size cubes. Cover with butter and season salt and wrap in foil.

    Um rings?

I just bought a tikka t3x lite ss in 6.5 cm. I have a trijicon accupoint 3x9x40 I pulled off my x bolt so I can send it back, I would like to use the unknown munitions rings. What hight would be better? Will the trijicon clear with the micro or should I order the low height? Thanks

    Help with acope problems

Yep other than the parallax is hard to find the sweet spot with the vortex. Haven't been happy with that scope but it was expensive and hasn't lost zero yet so it gets to stay til it breaks.

Nope, just plain prescription. I'm going g to try to get an appointment with the optometrist and see if something is wrong. Might try shooting left handed and see if I still have a problem

    Help with acope problems

X bolt speed 308 and bergara hmr 6.5 creedmoor. Both have have radial brakes. I don't think it is mirage because I can shoot a group with one and pick up the other and still have a problem. I have other rifles but those are the only 2 I took on the last trip. I did notice that randomly I...

Starts clear, not racing anything with cheek weld. I kinda wonder if it's something wrong with me eye that recoil makes worse?

    Help with acope problems

When I start shooting at the range I start having a very hard time with the images becoming blurry. I don't think it is from the diopter or parallax. Or barrel heat. This past Sunday I went and tested the new trijicon accupoint and took the bergara hmr to work on load development. The...

The trijicon is noticeably brighter than the vx3. Seems to hold groups well. The illuminated dot is not overly bright, infact it could be brighter. I started the test by tossing the rifle and scope on my hardwood floor from 3 or 4 feet, no padding. No ill effects. I was having some a...

Mounted the scope tonight. Not sure I'm happy with the rings, but this scope is so much more clear than the vx3. Does seem to have a tunnel effect? I think. Not bad, just different. Looking down my hall way is much brighter and crisp. I will try to get to the range this weekend. I don't...

That my plan too. Might have to try a few of the fixed swfa scopes on a couple rifles. Still want to get a premium scope for the x bolt or my old r700 adl. That remington will regularly put 3 round touching at 100 yards with a 3x9x42 burris 30mm. That scope is actually reliable too...

I ordered the accupoint this morning. 3x9x40 with amber mildot. Still on the fence with the other 2 options.

I probably could swing a shv and accupoint and skip the schmidt. If nothing else it's and excuse to buy a other rifle to put a scope on. Thanks for the advice.

Is that the x bolt speed? How easy is it to get behind the scope with the rail and a 30mm? The accupoint seems like it would be great. But if the glass is that much better in the shv/nxs or the schmidt I don't mind a weight penalty.

I think the 42mm is going to look perfect on the x bolt hc speed

I'm ok with one turn. I have other rifles to use for playing at the range if they ever open the 600 yard line. Mostly just want the ability to dial if I have a opportunity. Really leaning towards the s b. I am planning on a few of the fixed swfa's for 2 or 3 other rifles. Thinking about a...

I think the klassic with the p3l has a zero stop, similar to the vx2 cds? Limited to just under one rotation? Can I expect variable klassic to be reliable? I think the fixed 8 that form tested passed? I can't tell if that one has a capped windage turret. I definitely won't dial windage...

Why? Brighter image? Can you see holes in targets at 100 yards with the.. I struggle with the vx3 4.5x14.
