    WTB Zeiss V6 Subalpine Finish

    Bump.

    WTB Ridgeline FFT Subalpine

Euro has had CA’s on a really good sale for a little while now, and I’ve got a local dealer who matches their pricing on whatever I need, but it’s always worth trying here first. People on Gunbroker all have gotten their hands on some really good stuff, because their pricing is a joke these days.

    WTB Ridgeline FFT Subalpine

This is a long shot, but does anyone have one of these in 6.5 PRC sitting in their safe? Drop me a line if you’re interested in letting it go.

    WTB Zeiss V6 Subalpine Finish

Looking for a V6 in the Subalpine finish for a little just for fun build. Let me know if you’ve got one to re-home. I know these are hard to find, but hoping to get lucky.

WTB Christensen Ridgeline FFT SA Stock

Looking to swap the stock out on my 300 WSM Traverse with a FFT to save the weight, but keep the 24” barrel. Interested in a black and grey if you’ve got a spare kicking around.

    Suppressor 300wsm

That’s irrelevant and still doesn’t give any reasoning on why their data is not worth believing. In fact, it proves they are doing better science than anyone else in the public domain. All I usually see amounts to, we stuck this B&K meter over here and got this number… Everything on their site...

    Suppressor 300wsm

The standardized methodology for their sampling and waveform analysis is clearly outlined on their site and fully transparent. It’s literally the first section of their website? Their data is a gold standard because it’s not just a db rating. It factors in the impulse waveform rather than just...

    Suppressor 300wsm

Why don’t you, “buy into that stuff.”? It’s repeatable standardized testing with clear methodology. What invalidates their results in your assessment?

    Suppressor 300wsm

I run a Nomad LT on my 300wsm and love it. The original LT is smaller, lighter, and 50% less expensive than the Magnus and was the target TBAC sought to beat in development. I can’t really recommend the Magnus, especially with the new Nomad XC line rolling out. The Nomad L Ti XC is smaller...

    6.5 Grendel Build: Reviews/Opinions

But is it better in a 16” suppressed hunting rig? With the velocity penalty, I’d suspect the two are a wash, with the terminal giving an edge to the Grendel.

    6.5 Grendal???

Did the same. Howa mini carbon stalker, then chopped and threaded the barrel. Love this gun.

    6.5 Grendal???

Hunted an entire season with 154gr 7.62x39 Tul soft points and was very pleased. When I dug them out, most looked like this one, or better.

    6.5 Grendal???

I can’t get the Hornady factory SST’s to group for crap in my AR nor my Howa mini. Velocities are great, but they just spray the target. The Nosler 129 ABLR factory load is the ticket for me. Sub MOA all day at 2,300 in 18” tube. I usually take hogs at night, so just about anything would work...

    Trijicon Credo 3-9x40 quick look

It’s a great little 150 yard setup. I have had great terminal performance on hogs and smaller size deer with the Tul 154gr soft points. Getting 2147ft/s out of my 16” and it’s a blast to shoot suppressed.

    Trijicon Credo 3-9x40 quick look

I have the red precision hunter reticle as well, but I actually like it. I’ve got it mounted to an AR upper chambered in 7.62x39. I didn’t want to spend real money on an optic for a 2 MOA gun, but still wanted it to be reliable and this guy has done a bang up job at that so far.

    Mountain rifle scope suggestions

I agree. I replaced all my VX5HD’s with V4 4-16x50’s and am very happy with the swap at this price range.

    Scope for 6.5 Grendel

I run a Zeiss V4 4-16x50 on my Howa mini action, and a Steiner Predator 8 2-16x42 on my Grendel Hunter AR. I’m very happy with both pairings.

    Mountain rifle scope suggestions

There’s a Credo HX 2.5-15x42 in the classifieds right now that would be a really nice fit.

    Meopta scopes

You’d be hard pressed to find better performance in the $600-700 price range, but, the Meoptas are absolute bricks. If having almost 2 pounds sitting up top your rifle is not an issue, I say go for it.
