    I've been doing a little research about threading recently because I want to suppress my .270 Winchester Model 70 for hunting but don't want it f-ed up. What should I expect to pay for a good gunsmith to do it? Any recommendations out there? I'm in TX but would ship.

    Anyone using a Kuiu Venture 1800 or 2300 for a saddle setup? I have the Kuiu 2300 Pro Pack setup but the external frame and harness are a little much for short trips to the tree. Looking for something a little lighter but will carry a predator platform and one sticks.
