Over the
over The phone a bergara tech said this is the new trigger pull adjustment. He said they have not updated then owner’s manual and they will be sending new manuals outs to everyone. Why do they come shipped in the verge of falling out? Poor quality control I guess? I’m guessing when...
Sweet! What length did you go with and yhow much velocity did you loose? I have two tikkas. It’s been hard to decide what cartridge to go with but I’m getting hooked on the 300 wsm. Seems super efficient. Way off topic now🤣
That’s helpful. I’ve had my 270 wsm since 07. I’m bored of the projectile selection so I plan to get a factory 300 barrel, cut it down to 20 or 22” and add a brake. If I like the setup I’ll get a pac-nor barrel made. Just trying to figure out the details now
😂 I don’t know what to call it, Bottom plastic? This is off topic a little but I don’t have my 300wsm barrel yet. Plan to use a factory one for now soon as I find a new take off. With the factory 300 wsm how much freebore do they have? I’m reading it’s more than saami which is what I have...
I know this is a bit old but I’m dealing with the same thing now on a 300 wsm I’m putting together. Has anyone tried the hell’s canyon la option yet? Also how bad is the mountain tactical LA with the wsm cases?
Why do I want to try the heavy for caliber bullets in my 270wsm? I’ve been a bit frustrated with .270 cal projectile offerings and the lower BC compared to the latest BC trends in the other more popular calipers. Years ago a lot of 10 twist 270 guys were running the matrix 165 and seemed to...
Also I have calculated these 165 ablr at 1.51” long and a .125 ballistic tip have a stability of 1.25 at sea level and 1.47 at 4500 feet and 45°. Is that going to be good enough?
Hi I’m new to the forum, first post. I am going to try the 165 gr accubond long range in my tikka 270 wsm. I know the stability is marginal. I’ve seen a few places where people have tried them with some luck on a 1:10 twist. I’m planning to start with h1000.
I would think 6.8 western would...
