Last year we killed two in northern CO in a burned out area. Hunted the burned area similar to what was posted and caught a herd coming out of north facing timber at daybreak.
I don't think they had any issue passing through, but it wasn't an area they were going to be in for long

Bought it on here a week ago or so to try out on my DT frame. Liked it but decided to stick with my Kifaru pack.

One thing I have noticed is that you have to be somewhat reasonable with yourself. If the diet is too rough, cheat meals or cheat drinks happen all to easy.

this is interesting. As a nonresident hunter that has hunted Colorado OTC and draw - I would prefer it to stay as is.

I somehow managed to break OR crocs while in a creekbed last year. Fantastic customer service but I think my next gaiter purchase will be he T and K gaiters. They look pretty interesting
I have superfeet greens. I think my heel sits pretty deep in them, so depending on what kind you have, you may be able to switch over to another type of superfeet.
I have talked with one buddy who had the hikepros- its obviously ymmv but he seemed to like them. They look similar to superfeet...
RRS is the best you can get. I prefer the anvil setup, however, they also have a more traditional ballhead that is excellent as well.
A slightly more affordable option is the Two Vets 55mm head - it isn't quite the RRS but it is excellent for the price
