    I have more than my fair share of rifles. 204 Ruger through 375 h&h. This last year I built a 6mm arc howa mini for my 12 year old daughter. It's under 6lbs loaded and has almost no recoil, even without a muzzle device. This round fits all your req's, and does so in a smaller package.

    6mm /.243 hunting success on Big Game

    My daughter killed a buck with a 6mm arc and 103 eld-x with a MV of 2700. It was a bedded 250 yard shot that broke ribs going in and out of the chest cavity. The bullet also broke through the scapula on the off side and we found the bullet under the skin on off side. The bullet weighed 73.3 grains.
