Mcmillan game warden 2.0 vs mountain tracker lr vs nimrod…

I second either the mountain tracker or Rostock. The negative comb would need to be essential for a 300 RUM in a hunting weight rifle. I’ve heard good things about the peak 44 but I’ve never personally shot one. Not mention in your thread but I’d also seriously recommend a suppressor with a...

    Best reticles

No secret with this one but Nightforce standard MOAR reticle is probably my favorite design. I could go without all the holdover MOA values because I dial for all my shots but other than that it’s very clean and easy to use for holding for wind.

Which ballistic app/program is most accurate?

I use the Revic ballistics app. Very simple to use and they have lots of good videos on the app on YouTube. The app has had a couple issues in the past but Revic does acknowledge that and seem to be working through that well.

    The 22 creedmoor thread

Throwing in my shorty 22 creed info here. ONLY ABOUT 75 rounds through the rifle so far, with a very light load this far from my findings on brass. 16” CF barrel 88grain ELDM Hornady brass 41 grains H4350 3025FPS definitely think I can get close to 3100 FPS with little issue

Match bullets speed vs wound Chanel

This a 88grain ELDM exit wound. Shot out of a 16” barrel 22 creed on an antelope. Shot was just under 400 yards which makes about 2450Fps

    MDT made a carbon stock

I was initially really impressed with the stock and still may buy one. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for a light weight KRG bravo someday. The Rokstock is damn hard to argue against though for the price unless someone was specifically looking for more of a chassis style stock.

    7 SAUM bullet recommendations

You mentioned you wanted to stay away from Bergers but I’ll give my two cents. Myself and the group I shoot with have piles of bodies with the Berger 168gr VLDH and the 162 ELDm from elk to antelope. My personal 7 SAUM with 22” barrel and an ultra 7 pushes 168s at 2925Fps.

    Bergara options

I’ve been around about a dozen Bergara over the past 2/3 years and they have all been shooters. From little 22-250 to 30 cal magnums. One barrel did take a couple extra boxes to really start shooting good. I just chalked that up to a rough chamber job more than anything else. I’d lean towards...

    Rangefinder binos

Echoing a couple things here. The glass does not “suck” way better than any of Sigs, Vortex, and Leupolds. I’ve been running the Revics since they first came out and have been extremely happy this far. Definitely not swaro glass like the SLC but that’s not really a fair comparison. Due to the...

Revic app sync to multiple devices

Very familiar with the Revic products personally. You can send profiles to as many different Revic devices as you wish. You can only send profiles though to one unit at a time. (I.E. Connect to your dads BR4 to send his couple profiles and this connect to your Revic binos to send over the same...

Garmin Xero C1 vs LabRadar Side by Side Tunnel Testing

Switched to the Garmin myself about 6 months ago and I haven’t looked back yet.
