I wouldn't be overly concerned. I drive down to San Carlos a few times a year and knows couple guides down there. Listen to your guide and don't do anything that you wouldn't do at home.
That buck won't (or shouldn't) make it into the book. It's an awesome buck...But it's a cactus buck. It doesn't have a true main beam on the right. Congrats to Gordon on the unique trophy.
My dad and I hunted with the Garvey Brothers in unit 61 a few years ago. It was an elk hunt but I highly recommend them. Really solid guys. Check out their website.
2 points is plenty to get you into the kind of hunt you're after. I have always had a wonderful experience on my past WY antelope hunts. We hunt a unit that takes 0 points and is a unit with an asterisk for poor public access. We have never had an issue finding animals to hunt on public land...
Sorry for the late reply. We start the baits on baiting opener. As the season progresses into Sept. we'll decrease our baiting interval and decrease the amount of bait left. Start by checking the baits once every 5-7 days then by mid Sept. I like to be baiting every other day if possible.
