I don't find the centering of the magview to be much of an issue. The magview app has a dot in the middle of the screen that you can align with your optic as you attach it. I would guess 8 out of 10 times I get it first try. The other 2 out of 10 times takes another second or two of sliding...

I use the S1 on my spotter. It is not as clean of an experience glassing traditionally with the eyepiece. I feel as tho the open cover piece is in the way of my nose and I end up feeling like I cant get my eye close enough to relax and glass.

If I were to quantify it I would say they're 10 degrees warmer (tough to quantify tho). I bought the 200g first and loved them so wanted the option to wear some in the summer. If I were to have 1 pair I would go uninsulated. You can always double up socks or use foot warmers
I had the same issue I assume you had. For future reference to someone new to using magview with the magview app, make sure you allow the magview app to have permissions to your phones photo's or the photos/videos you take through the magview app will go nowhere.
