    Considering downsizing to 6 cm from 7 PRC

    Made the switch to 6 CM this year. Suppressed 22” Proof shooting factory Hornady Match 108’s at 2918. Altitude of 2200 ft, 1803 MV at 740 yards. Spotted impacts through the scope on Mule Deer as close as 217 yards.

    Ford F-150 reliable?

    I have a ‘23 3.5 with 18,000 miles. After level and 34” tires I’m getting 16-17 mpg on my work commute in ideal conditions. It will drop down 14 or so loaded down on the freeway. Prior to lift and tires I would average 18-21.

    Favorite Kuiu Top?

    The Peleton 200 t zip hoody is my favorite piece of clothing. I wear if on most hunts. Second would be the Kenai jacket. Abused it for years and it still works great.

    KUIU pant sizing change?

    Kuiu pants sizing has been very inconsistent for me. 36 attacks, way too big. Recently purchased 34 attacks, too small. 36 Kutanas, huge. 36 talus hybrid fit perfect. Kuiu tops have been great. Every XL has fit well. I’ve now moved on to Stone Glacier pants in a M//L. Much more consistent sizing.

    Miles on your old 7.3 diesel?

    189,000 on an 01 F350. Bought it 4 or 5 years ago at 98,000. It’s been a great truck and plenty reliable, though I have spent quite a bit on it. Sold a 94 IDI a couple years ago. That thing was a dog, but should have never sold it.

    6.5 PRC ammo

    Hornady Match 147 eldm’s have worked really well for me. The last three years I’ve killed 2 deer and 3 elk from 80 to 525 yards with that bullet. All heart/lung shots and died quickly.
