Nikon Monarch HG and Zeiss Conquest HD Questions
I have a FLIR Scion. It is amazing. Go with a 640 core and I think anything warm blooded will "pop" like crazy in the snow. On a walk in my neighborhood at night, cottontails on the neighbor's grass look like glowing orbs of white light. Coyote hunting in the desert is a little harder... -

2-7x32 for Coyote Hunting?
I run a TA11 with an offset T2. On hard chargers up close, roll to the T2. For stationary coyotes at a distance, I use the ACOG. For me, it is the perfect setup. I tried a LPVO. Hated it. -

Wind and cold gets my eyes pretty teary. It is usually pretty equal. Maybe see an ophthalmologist? -

NL 12x42 experience?
You should consider Canon stabilized 10x42L. I have compared them head to head with alphas. Handheld, it is no contest. -

Monopod vs. tripod - how much better
A monopod only works for me with stabilized binoculars. My Canon 10x42L IS is awesome with a trigger stick monopod. Fast as can be in action and adjustments.
