    First year with the recurve

Congratulations. I took a similar journey. Trad just hits different when it comes together.

Got my first deer with a recurve. I had just sat down on a fallen tree for a sip of coffee. He was hot on the tail of a doe and she circled back and brought him to 20yds. 1.93 mile pack out, I'm doing 2 trips next time. Mad respect for you western guys that do this in the mountains. It was by...

Trad up til rifle opener, compound til I get it done and then back to trad. Looking through the classifieds for a pack is what made me realize I hadn't joined yet. So...

    Traditional Kill Thread 2022

Only thing I've been able to get so far since using my hoyt buffalo. I switch back to my compound for rifle season if I haven't got a deer yet, then back to the recurve once I do. I just enjoy the recurve so much more, but I gotta put meat in the freezer.
