Too early for me to commit to this but I'd definitely be interested once it gets closer if your still looking for someone or a third person or something. I'm in Idaho and usually backpack hunt in the spring but have always been interested in llamas. I haven't bear hunted central Idaho but that's...
I am a mystery ranch fan as much as anyone it just sucks that their bags and frames aren't compatible with different generations. From a Business standpoint though, I get it. New product every year with miniscule improvements and enough people to buy them every year probably results in large...
can't comment on much other than the atv/side by side issue. Yes its that bad. The motorized vehicle rules never seem to get enforced and the side by sides and 4 wheelers will be anywhere and everywhere they can possibly drive. Plenty of law abiding folks but enough people not following the...
Its honestly hard to think of anything that would be more over rated than BT products, especially Blanton's. Even at retail of about $70 its hard to justify a 90 proof whiskey when much higher proof stuff is available for cheaper.
I did sample Elmer T. Lee recently and though it was pretty...
This year I got my feet wet experiencing with some of the principles associated with uphill athlete and specifically what was mentioned in the Exo Podcast.
Instead of doing traditional higher heart rate cardio such as running or biking I switched to zone 2 training sessions at 1 hour long. I...
Here's my recent setup with a Davis GoTent. First pic is looking from the door and second is from back wall by window.
As you can see we had our cots in a L shape in the back. We had a table in between the one cot and the stove. The gap between the stove and the cot is 4 feet at the most.

I've been wearing leather buckskin work gloves so far this year. Like $15-$20. Cut the wind well, generally waterproof, very durable and keep my hands warm for the most part. I also get cold hands when sitting for a while so I use a pair of down/puffy gloves for long sits. Non-Hunting branded...
yes I used to strictly use pork fat but have since switched to beef fat. I have used it with deer, elk, bear and antelope. I am usually making burger meat or ground breakfast sausage and italian sausage. This is all loose ground, not stuffed in casings.
As for flavor I definitely would agree it...
absolutely love mine. quick access to the rifle and never had an issue with it falling out or slipping of my shoulder. I usually have my gun in a rifle cover and can still use the slick sling
I have an older model not the V3 though...
Ended up buying the 1750PSI electric from harbor freight and used it to do an elk. It definitely has enough power although if money wasn't an issue I think 2500PSI or more would be better. Just took a little more time than what I've used in the past but can't complain for $100.
