    Has anyone been shot at while hunting?

    Earlier this year. Local cattle farm a coyote hunt, Dad and Son both live there. I am about 800 yards behind sons house at 1AM playing a coyote howl, suddenly BAM BAM BAM. Dad forgot to tell his son we were going that night, son blasted his shotgun off the deck. Scared me good!

    You can leave it in the cooler, main thing is avoid the meat sitting in water. Depending on temps though, you can just hang the meat in bags. If daytime temps are below 60* and night time gets below 40* I just quarter and hang.

    Best Silencer for a 6XC

    You will be quite happy with the TBAC or Dead Air Nomad TI. I would advise against buying a dedicated 6mm can though, I have one (KGM R6) and I don’t think it makes any difference sound wise. That could be due to the KGM being a louder than normal can, but if I could do it again I would go .30 cal.

    Most of the time I carry a pack as I’m going to need one to haul game out, so might as well have it with me.
