    WTT SWFA 6x mil

WTT SWFA 6x mil rifle scope. I bought this 2 years ago and it has received very little use. Like new condition. Trade is for the scope and caps only, rings not included. I’m looking for a light scope for my wife or daughter or a FFP plane for a new build Im working on. Trade for the following...

Do I Know Enough To Use A Chronograph?

Didn’t use one for years due to traditional style chronos being finicky to set up and variable due to weather/lighting, etc. I bought a garmin chronograph and never go to the range without it. If you’re loading to maximize performance, a chronograph is extremely useful.

    Muzzleloader Cleaning w/ Blackhorn 209

I use the Montana extreme 209 specific cleaner/solvent followed by their bore conditioning oil. Cleaning after every shooting session, including firing pin assy on my break action CVA. When I shoot my muzzleloader at the range I’ll usually shoot 10-20 shots. The 209 cleaner is very different...

Blackhorn 209 price "what the hell"

BH209 is made in Canada. Canada was way more shut down during the COVID era than the US states that manufacture bullets, powder or primers in general. Give it a year or 2 and prices will drop. Let’s not forget the days in 2022 when a box of premium 300WM ammo was $80-100 if you could even find...

CVA MR-X Is Hitting Too Low

CVA sent me a new base for free. They said the old base was “defective”.

CVA MR-X Is Hitting Too Low

Are these the stock sights? My MRX came with a rear peep and fiber optic front. I couldn’t get it zeroed either. I was hitting low and ran out of elevation. I called CVA and I guess they had some defective rear sights. They sent me a new base for the rear peep, it is much higher. Haven’t sighted...

    Hornady 340gr .50cal ELD-X Bore Driver

I recall reading .72 or something from people’s anecdotal evidence. I use .7 with the assumption that this is an estimate at best. I only weigh powder by weight. I use the .7 to check I’m not grossly over the safe limit when developing my load. @ElDiablito I double checked the mrx manual it’s...

Trijicon Ten Mile HX 3-18x44 FFP on DVOR

At 3x if you look at the reticle euro style, bold lines on the outside and thin near the center it’s good. This sight picture is a bit abstract, but I like it. If your an aim a dot/cross hair type of guy, turn on the illumination

    Hornady 340gr .50cal ELD-X Bore Driver

@devislpit777 100gr/V = 142gr/weight (conversion factor is 0.7 per the manufacturer). I’m pretty sure paramounts and accuras are rated for heavy magnum loads of 150-160gr by volume. That being said I shoot 87gr/weight of BH in my 50 cal MR-X, with very little un burnt powder
