    Im getting my first try at hunting this country and I plan on packing in 3 days before the opener so hopefully in doing that I can find a deer I like and tag it opening morning. Thats pretty wishful though. But scouting before the season is a must in my opinion.

    I plan on scouting 2 different times before the hunt starts then at least 1 five day pack trip just before the season opens and the first few open days.

    Depends on the point creep when you decide to put in. Id guess 5-6ish points before you start getting close. Ive put in with 6, 7 and 8 points the last 3 years and finally drew a tag this year. The tag I wanted was 14 points and has crept up every year ive tried. I didnt want to wait an other...

    I have been following a point creep for 3-4 years now. Its frustrating but hopefully I can draw in the next couple years. I have 9 Antelope, 8 Deer and 3 elk points. I think it will be a while unfortunately.
