    2024 OFFICIAL WHITETAIL MEAT POLE

I've been trying for a number of years - finally tagged out with my bow during the Wisconsin gun season.

What to use for cracking, bleeding hands in the field.

I get those little finger condoms, my favorite lotion and heal those cracks at night. Upon further review, none of that sentence sounds OK.

Drawing bow back with drop away (in stand)

I didn’t read all the comments however in scanning did not see anyone mentioning the possibility that your D-loop may be too tight, which can force the nock partly off the string when at full draw. Just a thought.

    2024 show your dogs success

Great several days in SD; my dog is still in her prime and was a workhorse. And she has a soft mouth, as you can see.

    Injured in the backcountry

Quite the pickle; good luck with your rehab. The fact that you are very athletic and in excellent shape should put you at the good end of the bell curve for recovery time.

Who makes something similar to Kuiu's Kutana pants?

I think I've solved my problem...have lost enough weight to fit nicely into the 32" Kutanas.

Boots - are we doing it wrong

Another fan of the TX3's - have stalked and killed big game in them, taken them on many bird hunts and over 100 canoe portages in the Canadian bush. Only complaint is the clown-shoe color.

Everyone's bow/arrow setups this year. SHOW EM OFF!!!

Some sweet hardware, folks. I'm still shooting my beater bow(tech), and as such I have to wear a paper bag over my head like the Browns fans do...

    Ontario Canada Fishing Recommendation

I just got back from Canada with two of my kids, however we entered and exited Canada via canoe. Had great fishing; son got a personal best for both Pike and Smallmouth. Your options are almost endless; but know that too far north and smallmouth peter out. Staying within 100-150 miles of the...

Buffalo County, WI - thinking about buying land

I own a WI farm a little downriver of Buffalo County in the heart of the Driftless - it's a special place. My only input is to talk to the neighbors first, wherever you are considering buying. Even in Buffalo County your farm will be better or worse for what your neighbors are doing. We are...

    2024 Antelope meatpole

They had me connect with the local CO to hand over the first one two years ago. This one they told me was now obsolete & would not be re-used, and told me to keep it as a trophy. "Can do!" I see it as being similar to shooting a banded duck...

    2024 Antelope meatpole

Pretty wide with good mass; both tips sharply bent. 43 yard heart shot & he still ran 150 yards (at top speed). Managed to stalk him from behind when he followed his 11 does over a hill. This is my second in three years to have been radio collared - the biologists shared the info on his...

Camo for Goats in the open?

Reporting back after our spot-and-stalk archery trip: my buddy got a hot-weather Kuiu shirt in Valo and just wore some old, light khakis down below. The advice on wearing solids is solid. His lower half was really way better than his upper at long distance. It seems to be about tone, not...
