    Tikka Pre fit

    Looking to place an order for a Carbon Six Tikka prefit in 6.5 PRC. Thoughts on a 8:1 vs. a 7.5: twist rate? I'd like to shoot the Berger 156's when I get my hands on them but have a bunch of 140' and 143's for now. Barrel length with be 22". Thanks.

    I shoot the Berger 168 gr Classic Hunters out of my Tikka T3 7mm and they do well. Easy to find an accurate load.

    Yeah, I think I got lucky on this load, it was the first one I tried. I had some others loaded up but we never even tried them after these results. I shot some 212grELD-X's out of another 300 win mag I have and had some great results also, need to play with those a little more though. Good luck...

    Tried some 200gr Hornady ELD-X's out of the Tikka. They shot pretty good. ;) 3 Shots at 100yrds. 75grs H1000

    Need a little help with some information in Wyoming. Anybody been up the Cliff Creek trail near Bondurant,Wy this year. Heard there was a big landslide in there, trying to find out some info on it. Thanks in advance.

    What rifle case for airline travel?

    Airline workers can be really careless with your guns. I prefer to have a durable case that I know will stand up to some pecker head with an attitude throwing my gun case around. I learned the hard way. Nothing like going to claim your gun and the barrel is sticking out of the end of the case...

    Tried the toe warmers late this year, I'm sold! I doubt I will ever tree stand hunt in cold weather again without them.
