Tikka T3 300 win Mag W/200 gr ELD-X

Tried some 200gr Hornady ELD-X's out of the Tikka. They shot pretty good. 3 Shots at 100yrds. 75grs H1000

Very nice! I can't wait to start hand loading for mine. Factory eld-x 200 grain are shooting really well out of mine but I'm sure I can tighten it up some more.

Yeah, I think I got lucky on this load, it was the first one I tried. I had some others loaded up but we never even tried them after these results. I shot some 212grELD-X's out of another 300 win mag I have and had some great results also, need to play with those a little more though. Good luck to you.

I know this is an old thread but what velocities are you getting out of the Tikka with 200gr ELD-X? I'd like to try this load, but unsure with Tikka being 1:11 twist.

I just tried these in my rifle the other day working up to pressure they seemed to be super accurate and I got up to 2900 without pressure signs but I don’t think I could get much higher than that I was using reloader 26
