    5 pin vs Single pin

    i run a 2 pin slider. i set the top for 30, bottom is 46 and then i can slide it for anything further. Shoot the 30 pin at 10 and and 20 and take note of how high the arrows hit on the target, then no need to slide for those ranges.

    7mm Soul Searching

    if you really want something cool, do the 7-6.5prc or whatever that cartridge is. 6.5prc necked up to 7mm. Will be plenty of gun for whatever you are doing and can be run on a short action.

    if you have a bushing die, get the next size smaller bushing. i had to do this for my 7 PRC and the 168GR LRX. Same issue.

    this is true, like my liver/gut shot elk i lost. If i had shot an ELD-M my guess is I wouldve recovered the animal. hit the front half and they die, hit the back half and anything can happen.

    I wish I took a pic of the inside. It was my buddies first ever deer in my regular spot. If I recall, it smashed the rib right in the middle of it. The actual entrance wound was about 1” but as you can see, the facia had a huge hole in it.

    i built myself a Stag Arms AR-10 in 6.5CM. It weighs 8lbs scoped and I took a few animals with it before Trudeau deemed it an assault rifle designed for the battlefield and banned them. Its been a safe queen for the last 4.5 years.

    fixed heads dont fail to expand either. do they both work? yes is one better than the other? not necessarily but if you can get a fixed head to fly great, i dont see the reason to use a mechanical at all. less variables and better penetration a majority of the time

    i work oilfield shift work. 15 days on 13 off, 14hr days with rotating night shifts. i enjoy nights in the summer, way cooler and no one bugs you on nights.
