Wanna know a secret??
If you need a >$1500 optic to do a thing…..you know what you need from actual experience with high end optics. You won’t need the advice of an Internet forum to guide you.
I’ve looked through plenty of high end optics. I don’t need them…..maybe I will soon, but not yet.
I would consider the MEC. The MEC has tons of access. It has enough room to easily seat all but the longest cartridges. It is also very smooth and precisely machined. It makes great ammo.
Too bad. I was hoping he could see the light. It doesn’t make things better keeping your head in the sand. Dropping and falling happen. Am I just going to just stop hunting and fix/rezero my crap scope in mid hunt? Dang. Scope makers need to do better.
Fair enough. I think they are all just blown away. Did Maven get lucky or did they add it in their spec….i wonder.
@Tract I honestly think you should buy in to this. It is real. I buy in because once I really started paying attention to losing zero, shooting became more repeatable. I hate to...
Can you show me a sub6lb rifle that shoots 400-500 yds accurately? I’ve never heard of or seen that.
Seriously, 8.5-9 lbs is probably the lightest you can built a solid rifle that can hold zero, hold steady enough to shoot 500 yards and will hit what you want.
What do you want the brake for...

Nitecore brand is the easy button.
You mentioned Tract in your post. I did not mention Tract. I just found your choice interesting I’ll say.
Cayden is interesting. He seems quite knowledgeable in the area of training and shooting. I’d guess his use of Leupold is because he is not an equipment tester.
JVB is who he is, he comes...
I love it. I love how you blow the minds of scope makers. I brought this up to an optic maker and they literally freaked out on me and told me you are paid by nightforce. All the while night force is banging a scope loudly in the background and showing that it works after! Asshats!
Generally, I start with Nitecore for all my lighting. They are amazing. My headlamps from them are NU17 for just enough light and super lightweight. I also like the nu30 for more light and good weight. The NU43 is great, but heavy.
WWFD….What Would Form Do?
Since I can’t really glue these on like a base, how do I get a good mount? Spread glue on the action rail or just mount like normal and locktite the cross bolts and ring bolts?
