    20V DeWalt Chainsaw review

    Got a 20V 12" bar Dealt chainsaw, before I got it to elk camp this year I wanted to give it a hard trial run. Brought a full truck load of wood home today. One 5amh battery cut roughly 60 cuts, with juice left on the battery. I'd say it works extremely well!

    Put out 3 bobcat traps today. 220's set back about 9" plus an additional 6" over hang on top to keep snow out. Jackrabbit for bait, couple call lures, with a visual spinner up high by the trap.

    Looking for a windproof winter pant for late season hunting, waterproof a plus, durable in brush. Primarily hiking, spot and stalk type use, will layer under as needed, so don't want something super thick. Snowboarding pants have me curious. Any first hand recommendations?

    Sleeping pad slide? No more

    Sleeping pad slide in your tent, or does your sleeping bag slide off your pad? I used kitchen and bath silicon and laid several crossing patterns on my pad on each side. It doesn't move an inch anymore!

    Wyoming Mule Deer, what the answer?

    What's a long term answer to the constant declining mule deer population in Wyoming? Resident region licenses? Limited licenses state wide? Pick 2 or 3 hunt areas when you buy your general license and you can only hunt there? Kill a predator earn a buck license? What's your thoughts?

    We'll say 15° overnights, Pine and Aspen are the only two woods available, camping at the truck so you have chainsaw and splitting mual. How much wood are you cutting? Just for measurements sake, half a truck box, full truck box, more? How long does it take you to cut and spilt it?

    Not how long it felt, not I'm trying to be an Internet tough guy. What was the total distance of your longest pack out? How many trips, and species too. Mine was a bull elk solo in 3 trips, 19.2 miles on my GPS tracks.
