    Archery Turkey Masters

Is there a specific decoy setup that you guys would recommend for being able to draw? If I want to hunt without a blind it seems as though the decoys are a necessity, just need to figure out how many and hen/jake/tom configuration

Weed eater string to increase arrow weight

Nothing like bunching up some weed eater cord and sticking it into you .001 straight arrows. I'm sure you won't notice "much" of a difference until AT LEAST 7-8 yards

    Wisconsin Wolf hunt!

It is hard to speculate on how intelligently the WI DNR comes up with population estimates, but it seems odd to me that hunters would be able to fill the quota so quickly if the total population is what it is said to be. Regardless, at least they were able to make some money off the hunt in...

Ever had a .010 pin issue while on a hunt?

Interesting replies. I think I might leave my configuration as is or potentially replace my second pin with a .010. I have young eyes and am running green pins, which in my opinion are the easiest to see. Also lighted sight is legal in Wi, but illegal in Co where I also hunt.

Ever had a .010 pin issue while on a hunt?

After the previous season I decided to try out a few new sights and my eyes seem to like the .010 pins. However, I have been stuck shooting indoors as I live in WI and not in real life field situations. I am currently running a 4 pin with 20/40 at .019 and 60/80 at .010, but considering going...

    Colorado Draw

Does the secondary draw take into account the amount of pp someone has or how is that decided? Seems rather unfair to me that someone could amass a large amount of PP, then continually build PP and take those tags.

    2020 CO archery Elk recap

Just like everyone else, I really enjoyed this story! Definitely would like to hear more stories from you, your style of writing had me feeling like I was on the mountain with you guys. I have such a hard time remembering all of the day to day occurrences while hunting, they all seem to blend...

Learnings from first attempt at archery in CO

This list really made me smile because 2020 was our first Colorado OTC elk hunt as well, and learned a lot of the same issues. Camo bugle tubes are really good at blending in when set down, interesting to know that yours walked off as well! We saw a ton of deer and stumbled into some bulls on...
