    Non hunting brand clothing recommendations

eBay search for seller arcisa. Some of the best prices I have seen for military surplus, shipping takes a while from Lithuania, expect 4 weeks. Lots of gear though. Camo too, like flecktarn or British army

    Non hunting brand clothing recommendations

I've been lucky to find good used arc'teryx pieces for cheap on FB marketplace or ebay. For insulation I picked up an atom sv, compares to the first lite uncompahgre - synthetic insulation, but the atom sv has no insulation under the armpits so that it vents well. Doesn't compress like down, but...

    Puffy Jacket

I love the first lite uncompahgre, and am now digging the arcteryx atom sv which is very similar, maybe a touch warmer as well.

    Best Beginner's Spotter Selection

Thanks for the explanation, I'll be looking up what "achro" and "APO" stand for, I assume ED is extra dispersion, but maybe I'm wrong there. The purpose of a spotter for me would be to supplement my binos to confirm whether the game is legal (buck vs doe, 4 pt vs 2pt, etc).... I'm 3 years into...

    Cheap Stuff that Works

For a warm, rugged fleece, search 'austrian cold weather fleece' on ebay. They come from eastern europe, but there's a lithuanian seller who has them half price ($20-25 USD) when they are in stock... They are regularly $50 USD. Make sure to size down 1 size, they are super roomy.

    How much to bring?

I'd pack enough layers (base, mid, insulation, shell), one pair of merino underwear and 2 pairs of merino socks. And tenacious tape to repair any rips or tears as needed.

    Best Beginner's Spotter Selection

I often see old bushnell spacemaster ii's for sale for cheap and bought one for $70 Canadian (around $50 USD). I haven't been able to compare it to anything significantly more expensive, but if it's stable, which means a heavy tripod, then the picture is quite good. Does anybody else use these...

Would you take a game warden’s advice on where to hunt?

Absolutely, I would... Especially if you have a good rapport after the conversation with him.

What animals could you beat in a fight?

Wolf and chimp should have places changed. Nobody is winning an adult chimp attack, and unlikely surviving...
