2021 failures, close calls, and lessons learned

This is my story. Been re-siding all summer because I get to it when I can. Now, I may be able to get out the week of Oct 4. At least the work I put into my house looks good.

New Mexico Vacation Ideas

You could hire a guide and take a whitewater rafting trip down near Taos on the Rio Grande. A quick internet search shows at least two outfitters. I did that about 20 years ago. It's not large class 5 rapids but a little technical.

Hunt or Adventure Moments of Death

Was fishing from my boat last year and a t-storm was rolling in. Made my last cast before deciding to head in. As I was attempting to hook my lure to a rod eye I felt a bunch of static electricity while grabbing my lure. Thought for sure I was going to get struck by lightning before making it back.

Tikka T3x Lite?

I own the older T3 lite with stainless barrel in 300 WM. Everything is factory and I love it. I do have a suppressor on it and barely notice the recoil. I am not a big guy and don't think I want to shoot it without. I bought it four years ago for around $500. Seems they raised the price of the...
