    Not married, but been in a relationship for awhile. Usually get out for a handful of day hunts and long weekends. I always plan to have at least 1 7-10 day backpacking trip each year. Just try to make sure things are good at home and the honey-do list is as complete as possible.

    Fenix, black diamond, or petzl can't really go wrong with any of them but good point made above try to run your gear off the same batteries, less replacements to carry

    Fenix HL60R, can dim it low or light up a whole field (950 lumens), great battery life with the 18650s, can recharge it off a power brick too. I recommend carrying a compact headlamp too, something just incase you lose the primary etc.
