yes, but annoying when search and rescue show up with all those ropes and pulleys to lift your body from the mine shaft when all they needed where a few empty packs to help haul the trophy bull out…
It’s common to pay royalties to use others patents. More a question of whether the patent holder wants to play ball and if the patent is valuable enough in the market door others to pay to use it.
For my recent sale, I listed the price for F&F. The buyer elected to pay the fee for added protection, paid, and I shipped the item. Everyone was happy.
Listing as F&F gives buyers and option. But it’s also a bit like sales tax. Of course retailers could include it in the price tag, but...
Got my red carpet call from UM today. Painless and very much appreciated.
I had made two changes to my order: one to 2 color cerakote last Spring and a last minute change to a trinity rail.
The cerakote change was correctly captured.
The trinity rail was not, however, when I had emailed...
Nope, time will tell.
You? Pics of your finish and your impression on the ergos?
I do think I have a different opinion than you on what people are, including myself, should be expecting to buy with the money they’re spending on this stock.
I’m still waiting on mine so I can’t honestly speak to the ergos directly, only to the effort I’ve read about here to develop a better stock design. Props to UM and team for putting in that effort
I will honestly say that I believe UM clearly didn’t understand the stock business. They’ve made...
I’m afraid I don’t have photographic memory and this thread is quite long, but when was it touted as looking like a Royce?
I’m also not a car guy but I’ve never been led to believe that the British make anything other than unreliable junk cars, regardless of the price point.
I’ll take money...
Or try to find a community (liberal, conservative, or even unicorn moderate) that agrees to up their taxes to the level needed to pay for every needed emergency response detail needed to fight our more and more frequent 100year catastrophes.
I agree. The “City of Trees” is great until we have a bad drought year, some high winds, and another moron that thinks 4th fireworks fired over dry grass in the foothills is some sort of God given birthright.
LA isn’t exactly mismanaging a poorly thinned national forest. For those making those comments, I’m curious what specific thinning or other management activities were missing in the Palisades area (note: honest ask since I don’t know the area specifically but generically I don’t see southern CA...
OHaus 10-10 scale/balance - $75 shipped via PayPal. F&F or buyer covers fees.
Great scale, it has served me well, but Santa put an A&D balance under the tree so the OHaus is looking for a new home.
There’s nothing magic about an orbital welder. If it’s not setup correctly, the welds can still be poor. Additionally, while the outside of a weld can look pretty (or less than pretty), the real question is what the inside of the weld joint looks like.
I just got my Scythe yesterday. Welds...
Quickmill Anita Evo here + a Baratza Vario grinder. I like the quickmill, but it can be a finicky when you refill the water reservoir and refuse to heat…Italian craftsmanship I guess. But I highly recommend Baratza for the grinder. I’ve had it 15+ years, and in addition to replacing the...
Thanks for the data point. This makes be more comfortable going with my 6.5 swede plan, but has me thinking that without a recall and a ‘fix’ magnums are out for this can.
Does anyone on this thread have volume >=6.5 prc experience on a <=20 inch barrel?
Weld quality control vs a basic design...
@Article 4, for the record I’m not arguing that ballistics gel is bad or that a bigger cartridge doesn’t add any additional wounding capability. Your initial posts, however, came across as a throwing out technical jargon to appear to have a strong case, but actually pulled that jargon from a...
