Based on my experience, go with the 3 pin. Can confidently say I thought I would have time to adjust my single pin. Turned out, I didn’t and it cost me a bull.
Southern OH. I would say roughly half of the bucks have shed at this point. Seems like it’s been later the last two years. Assuming this year was so late due to a really warm winter and plenty of acorns.

In the same boat as other comments. Not a fan of the new compass mode. Really preferred the older version of just having the cone. Feel like the compass and having the dot at the bottom of the screen is not ideal for what I do.
If you’re planning on doing trips like this in the future, or colder weather trips, I would say get a good used bag on here. Also depends if you’re wanting down or a synthetic bag.
