Ah, good point on the Mitre. My friend is not on this site, do you any website or contact info for yourself that I could pass along to him, that would be helpful.
I have a good friend that was lucky enough to draw a 14c sheep tag, Peters Creek, for this season. I am going to accompany him on the trip, so was just wondering if anywhere had any knowledge or pointers about hunting this area. Looking for best points of access, etc....and any info around the...
The one I have used, had the seems rip out, was heavy, expensive, and condensation issues were always a factor. If you had better luck than me, thats great.
What do you recommend for backpack hunts when weight is an issue?
Definitely bring two tents. You should have plenty of room for a bigger tent, depending what aircraft they are flying you in on. BRA is a first class operation, and they operate Beavers, and Otter, and a 206. As for tents, the Ve-25's are junk, I'd suggest either a Hilleberg, or, believe it...

Those are the stipulations. I am looking for any ideas and advice?
If it were you, how would you go about such a project...
Thanks!!!

I've had a helluva time trying to come up with a good tripod over the years. I finally realized, many dollar bills later, that tripods is not an item that is served well by trying to be frugal. I used quite a few tripods, before I finally decided to drop multiple hundreds for a nice carbon...
For me, a pistol grip allows for faster and more consistent acquisition of my target. Sometimes seconds matter when getting your glass onto the intended target.
