What are some of your New Years Resolutions this coming year and how do you plan to accomplish them?

I've got a jump start on some of mine this year, I got tired of waiting for Jan 1st :) I've quit tobacco. Its been tough but its time to stop having a pointless addiction (or any addiction at all) that costs money and is bad for my health. Seems like it would be a pretty easy decision ehh? It hasnt been, and just typing about it makes me want a chew so dam bad lol

Lets hear what you guys' are you doing!

I'm looking forward to a new year. After going through a divorce and taking my engineering exams this fall during hunting season I've decided to spend more time hunting. To be the ultimate predator I'm hoping to lose 5-10 lbs, and trying to not spend too much on hunting gear.

Stick with it Jon Boy...

This January makes two years since i quit my can and a half per day Copenhagen habit. It has unequivocally been the best thing i have ever done for myself.

Stay strong, you can do it!!!!

Stop drinking redbull (getting off midnights so that should take care of its self), and put a minimum of 2k in saving every month so we can buy a damn house before hunting season! So tired of renting and livin in the ghetto...

Wyoming has a ghetto?

Only 95% of every town bigger than a couple of hundred people. Over all its kind of a "trashy" state (only my opinion). Beautiful once you get out of town, but in town? Not so much.

When you have multiple neighbors being picked up for warrants, armed robbery, ect.....its the ghetto.

Stay strong Jon Boy! I've been done 5 years this February, and I still have dreams about chewing. 1st month is the worst, but after you make it a habit not to chew you think about it less and less. Very difficult addiction, hope you can break it. I stuck five bucks in a jar everyday I didn't chew to give myself a visual incentive and then I had money when I needed some gear to reward myself.

I am quitting drinking mtn dew. Its worse then when I quit smoking. I also want to train twice as hard as last year. I know I will be able to hunt twice as hard come September if I do.

Jon Boy I am following in your foot steps! Browtinemt good reason to see something to look at. I have gone down to a couple of dips at night, none during the day. This is harder than when I quit smoking! Something I picked up in the army. Now, have any of you that chew ..tried Smokey Mtn chew? That is the best non tobacco stuff I have tried and it is so vile it would make anyone try and quit it that was all you had to stuff into your lip! I guess I will keep stuffing gum into my mouth. I believe every state has a link to help you quite and in Colorado it has one they advertise on TV. Gonna have to try that route. I did the nicotine gum through work twice and no more free gum. Bob.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I was getting pretty bad with smoking and chewing, and now that I'm back in WA, DAM IS IT EXPENSIVE.

Bob, I use sun flower seeds as a replacement. Another thing is, if I have any form of alcohol my cravings are 10x worst.. Kind of hard to quit having a beer here and there considering I just turned 21 a few weeks ago haha

I'm gonna give the quit chewin a go too. Ugh, I've tried so many times. Quit twice for six months each time , not a day I didn't wake up n didn't want one. Also gonna focus on my career more this year. More clients = more$ = more hunting! Well that's the plan anyways!

Don't my holiday 15 pounds starting Jan 15th. Not really starting at new years, but I have a mountain goat hunt the end of Feb to get dialed in for. :D

Also spend more $$$/time hunting and less on gear upgrades...we'll see how that one works out ;)
