Full disclosure…. My husband puts me up to this every year. I don’t practice much so I look forward to it. I still rely on him for distances and where to hold in the wind. Both of my shots landed within 1” so I’m happy. And I shot better...
Not very good! How many people would be comfortable with that shot (nothing wrong with it if you’re confident)? I remember when 300 seemed like a long way!

COLD AND WINDY…and miserable
I wanted to shoot at 400 but my husband said it was too hard to move the target so I shot at 575. 🙄
Then he stopped the video right when you can hear it hit the plate.
I’m back for year 2!
my max range is 30 yards. I’m shooting the same bow tech carbon rose at 40lbs. I killed my first bull last year, which was my first animal with any weapon!
Here’s my 2020 entry! I heard him bugle in the middle of the night and woke up @Ucsdryder. That morning he called him into 25 yards but I hit a tree! Then he settled down and I made the shot at 30 yards. He only ran 50 yards! To say I was excited is an understatement. More disbelief. Shout...
First post! My boyfriend @Ucsdryder put me up to this. He said based on my performance last elk season (my first ever), I needed to do this for practice. (I accidentally shot a tree, the ground, and a bush...oops!)
