    300 WSM replacement

    30-06 pushes a 165 grain Accubond about the same fps as the 300wsm pushes a 180 Accubond. Works pretty well. Easy to find 30-06 components and factory Accubond ammo is considerably less expensive than the same bullet loaded in the magnums.

    Oh well, that link didn't work as I hoped! The model number on the website for the Left Hand T3x Lite Stainless is TFTT11LL113B. The picture shows a righty but the description indicates a lefty. Again, it may not be available in the USA.

    I have a Fieldcraft 30-06 with a 24" #2 barrel. So, probably similar to your ULA. If you want to stay light and are not recoil sensitive, a Leupold fixed 6x (6x36 or 6x42) might make for a good combo.     If the 3-15x42 were made in the LOW factory with HD glass and included a zero-stop plus capped-windage, SWFA would sell boatloads of them. But, keeping up with demand for the 3-9x42 HD is an issue already.
