    Protecting Your Bird Dog?

I have hunted Brittany's for 40+ years and have never had any issue with predators. My Brittany's are on the smaller scale and when they were pups I was concerned about Eagles thinking they were an easy meal...but other than that, I have had no issue. Like others have said...my biggest...

    2022 Oregon Archery Elk Proposal

I honestly don't know how I feel about the changes. It will be interesting to see if it helps the chances of drawing in some of the existing Controlled Hunt units. Some of the units have high tag numbers so second choices should be obtainable in several units. I think it will take a year or two...

    EXO Pack Question

Question for the EXO Pack users. I am currently using an EXOK2 3500. The pack has been awesome as a good all around pack, but on multi-day back county hunts it is just a little too tight for my shelter, sleeping system, meals, etc. I have been contemplating making the jump to the EXO K3 6400...

    Backcountry Hunting Chair

I have a helinox chair one. I definitely don't take it on every hunt...but if packing in for 4 days or more having an actual chair to relax in while eating, or recovering in camp is nice. Also when stuck in camp due to stormy weather definitely makes for a more comfortable wait.

    Skre Nebo Rain Gear

I run the full Skre Nebo rain gear and love it. Live in Central Oregon so not the wettest of conditions...but wore them on an early Spring Bear Hunt this year. It poured for 4 straight days and I literally lived in my rain gear. Extremely comfortable and breathes well. No seam leaks what so...

Best down puffy. That's actually warm

Love my Skre Ptarmigan. 850 down and in my opinion the best jacket for the money.
