Looking at doing a Coues hunt the next year or two. Would likely be bringing the Mrs., so looking for more of an "experience" with things to do other than just the hunting. Legit Mexican cuisine, horseback riding, pretty scenery and a nice ranch atmosphere come to mind at the top of the list. Know I've heard of some ranches in the Sonora area that tick all those boxes- anyone have experience with one they'd recommend? Open to spots in the U.S. too, would just need to have OTC tags. Thanks in advance!

FYI, AZ OTC deer tags are archery only and are a very limited supply for non res. NM are all draw.

For sure. That was why I was anticipating Mexico probably the best fit, but always open to ideas!

In for the recommendations. Did my first coues hunt in NM last year... I need more of it...

Not. Has his license been reinstated? He lost it awhile back.

Edit: But I guess he can still guide in Mexico :cautious:
Yes it was reinstated. Also he hunts Mexico. His violation charge was for a stupid little minor administrative outfitter error.

El grande outfitters. They hunt cattle ranches in northern chihuahua, MX

Leo Duran. Mexican owned and operated. Little different terrain than Sonora but seems like a cool hunt.

I have not made the trip yet, but been online buddy’s with his guide Juan Robles. They seem like good folks and worth exploring imo.

Sorry for no first hand info.
