I had the same Bergara in 308 and felt exactly the same as you did about it. I sold it and got an Xbolt Speed in 7-08. The Sauer 100 was my second choice. The Browning got the nod because they don't make a true short action in the Sauer 100 (similar to Tikka). -

I recently bought an M&P 10MM 2.0 with a 4.6 inch barrell. Shoots 180 grain ammo just fine but drops magazines and some FTF issues with Underwood 200 Grain Hardcast. I contacted Smith and Wesson via email and they responded that I need to shoot ammo within SAAMI specs which I believe the... -

Tikka Roughtech or Bergara Carbon Wilderness
The Tikka sheep don't want to hear about any issues. I had a very well respected gunsmith and custom rifle builder tell me to stay away from Tikka. Not to mention they are the absolute ugliest rifle in the history of mankind. -

Shchafer silvertips
I used to have one. It felt a little top heavy to me. I liked the grip and filled a few tags with it. Eventually I sold it as the poundage was a little much.- BCD
