Turkey Smoking?
Get a spray can of avocado oil at Wal Mart. Spray the skin on the turkey every 30 minute or every hour while it cooks. It will help the skin achieve a good texture. Works on chickens and other things, too.- Dos XX

What would have happened if I would have shot this round?
Make sure the barrel is tight, not just snug. I don't use a torque wrench on barrels, but if I did, it would be in 80 to 100 ft lb range. Is it bedded in the stock? Bartlein trued the action? -

Clothing Scent control
The stuff in the orange bottle they have at bass pro. It is a good detergent. I like their shampoo better than regular store shampoo. -

Recommend me a boot (low volume feet)
Check Sierra Trading Post for Asolo Fugitives. I think i have seen them on their site. You might try Lowa Camino's, too. I have the leather lined and really like them. -

Dress Chukka suggestion?
Redwing, Timberland, Ariat, and Blundstones. I think the Blundstones are the most comfortable to my feet. The Ariats and Timberlands are tied for 2nd. The Ariats win on price. I don't get along with the Redwings as well for some reason, and they were the most expensive and best looking of... -

Fiocchi hulls are straight wall. STS, HOA, and Win AA are tapered hulls. Powder availability for 12 ga target loads is pretty limited right now, and what is available is mostly dense powders. I am not real familiar with wad selection for straight wall hulls, but using dense powders can mean...- Dos XX

Also, not all Brittanys have thick coats. My liver and white has a pretty thick coat. I do have to comb burrs out after some hunts. The orange and white one is really flat coated. He doesn't catch burrs nearly as much. The tradeoff, at least on my two, is the flat coated one doesn't have...- Dos XX

I reload Remington STS. I have reloaded Win AA but don't mess with them anymore. Fed HOA are the same hulls as STS but a different color. They don't use the same factory shot, though. I don't like them as much as a factory load but they reload the same as STS. I have reloaded Federal Top...- Dos XX
