Went out calling tonight. Clear skies 9 degrees, about 6-7 mph wind, about half moon. Saw 13 dogs in total, (heard a lot more) shot two. Pellet Grill/smoker recommendations under $700ish

Ive been out on nearly a full moon night and also noticed they were skeptical to come into calls. Im sure because they can see so much better. Revic BR4 is a great rangefinder. Pair it with a Caldwell wind reader & you'll have everything you need. I picked up one from Doug. Be sure to mention the Rokslide discount. Is the tikka 300 WM mag coal really a problem?
As stated above, shooting the heavier bullets is why I personally didn't go the Tikka route. 3.6 COAL for my current 300 load with 215 bergers. That and the slow barrel twist really turned me off of them.- SneakyThunderCat
