Went out calling tonight. Clear skies 9 degrees, about 6-7 mph wind, about half moon. Saw 13 dogs in total, (heard a lot more) shot two. Definitely more interested in the prey calls tonight with the colder temps, but most still got hung up a ways out there and wouldn’t commit.

I don’t remember my model but it’s probably 5-6 years old and it has a little hole on the side to run the probe wire through so you don’t have to go through the door.

Ive been out on nearly a full moon night and also noticed they were skeptical to come into calls. Im sure because they can see so much better. Next time I’m out on a brighter night I am going to set up the caller a ways away and try to use the fox pro decoy to my advantage.

As stated above, shooting the heavier bullets is why I personally didn't go the Tikka route. 3.6 COAL for my current 300 load with 215 bergers. That and the slow barrel twist really turned me off of them.
