i have a 1.350 cylinder 34" barrel. going to try n560/565/570. i am currently using n570 with the 225's. will probably just fill up the case to the top and crunch in a 174 on top and start backwards from there.
i'm about to load some up in my rum. I can push a 225 eldm 3,400 fps, any guesses what i'll reach with the 174?? i'm hoping i can get close to 4,000. if i do, i will record what kind of damage it does, both inanimate and live!!!
always start at starting load data and work up until you see pressure signs. sometimes you will be under, sometimes you will be over.
always take into account barrel length.
non-magnums = 25 fps per inch
magnums = 50 fps per inch
sometimes you can also get false pressure signs from too much...
i remember very well where i started at, i am very blessed to be able to have my dream setup.
the rails behind the benches are inline fabrication wall organizer rails.
infline fabrication qd mounts flushed into the tables via cnc and custom machined hardware
wiremould outlets spaced evenly...
were the cases the same powder charge? was this a clean barrel? leftover cleaning fluid inside the chamber could cause excess pressure in the beginning
i'm really happy with the way met set up came out. missing from the photos is a big husky locker. 36" x 72" tall i believe for all my compoents. all this is stuffed in a 8' x 13.5' room i built in my basement.
