My buddy has a Fleetwood evolution e3 pop up camper and he tows that thing into some pretty rough spots all over NV. They’re decently priced used and most have a large outdoor storage deck in the front for coolers, dirt bike, bicycles etc. He’s had his 6 years and it’s held up. I’ve thought of...
I used my LS Wild cover for the Shoot2hunt school, so roughly 1,000 rounds over 5 days and it held up just fine. Mostly shot in 10 round groups. I don’t know how it would fair on an AR doing a 30 round mag dump.
Are you sure you’re getting the recoil lug seated all the away into the action? I struggled with this on one of my rokstoks. Post pics of a side view of the action in the rokstok and torqued properly.
Can you post more pics and your opinion on using the pack with day pack loads in it? I’m sold on the pack as a multi day pack and I’ve seen it in person, however I’m still a little unsure about using it for a day hunt in mild weather. Thanks
I wrap it on my trekking pole and I’ve had it on there for a couple years and still works. When you peel it off it won’t feel super sticky but once I apply it to dry skin it somehow seems to come back to life. I’ve done this several times and then had those pieces stay glued to my skin for days.
2024 model, used for just last season. Packed out several animals and it does has some stains but otherwise it’s in excellent condition. I do not have any hunts this year that I need this pack for so I’m selling it. Size small hip belt. I’m 6’1” and 175 lbs and fits me perfectly. They recommend...
Cool. If you put the handles through each loop and cross them they’re pretty difficult to have come undone accidentally. I’m not trying to convince you to give up your quick stix, just pointing out to others that might read this. The soft cradle the loops make is a fantastic rifle rest. I’m...
Slipping the straps over the top of each handle and crossing them takes 2-3 seconds, maybe the quick stix are similar, but then height is adjusted by simply changing the width of the feet of the poles versus the quick stix needing to adjust the pole height. Additionally the strap method gives...
Using the straps on the trekking poles works better. They deploy quicker, the rifle recoils straight back (instead of wanting to match the angle created by the space between the poles using the quick stix), and it’s much easier to adjust height.
