    She isn't petite or I'm a giant. I'm 5'6" and I use the kUIU packs with no problems. In fact my husband is 5'10" with a long torso but our packs are set up the same. I have no problems with their packs and quite enjoy them. Order one in set it up right before going to the field and she'll thank you.

    There is several guys who are making Bobcat cages for trappers. Just need to get on trapping sites and find the ads and knowledge. Heck we made a hundred of them cages one summer. They are just hard to ship and costly.

    No moisture for months and hot temps means fires. Seen where Big Creek airstrip is closed due to the Logan fire. Valley fire has Boise front closed. Now the Red Rock has central Idaho closed down. Basically the west and east sides for getting into the Wilderness is closed to all.

    mtnwrunner thanks for the pictures. Some smart a$$ said old fire scars would slow down new fires. Doesn't look like it to me. I watched the Canyon Fire when it burned from a lookout. The sad thing is they had the fire but they flat out let it get away.
