I love my vortex. It's super light weight and has held up well for the last few years I've owned it. I bought a gun cradle for it and use it for long range shooting too. It goes low enough for prone shooting and high enough for standing.
No, it does nothing now. Stays on high the whole time. Double clicking does nothing either. I've tried reprogramming it like the instructions say but no luck. The only thing I can get is the strobe.
Can't get it. The only option it's giving me is strobe. I've been double clicking the hell out of this thing. I emailed them to see what they say. Thanks guys
I have the H52 and love it. My daughter got ahold of it and now I have no low beam. She reprogrammed it apparently. How do I restore the factory settings? I checked the pdf on their site and it doesn't say. I'm hoping someone here knows.
Thanks
Hey guys, I've been an archery hunter for a long while now and I'm going to put in for a rifle hunt this year. I know my unit really well during September and early October but have never been up there past October 10th. It's at higher elevations with several 14ers in it and goes down to around...
I filled a tube sock with corn (also can use air soft BB) tie a knot in it and fold it back over itself and tie another knot. Works awesome and it was basically free
I agree with Sam. I own the 1600 and have ranged it out past 2000 yards in real hunting situations. I also prefer to use an app on my iPhone for firing solutions. I find the G7 too bulky. The 1600 is really small and the glass is really good too. The thermometer is accurate if you keep it out of...
I drew a 1st rifle tag in 76. I had high hopes going in due to my scouting. Got in there 3 days before season only to have fog and snow that didn't allow glassing. We spent most of the preseason days in the tent. Opening day came and we heard a few bugles in a deep hell hole and decided to head...
I just got back from unit 76 in Colorado and the Bulls were going nuts. It's like it was peak rut. On the last night of the season I was in the middle of a "rut fest". 6 herd Bulls with around 40-50 cows and around 15 satellite Bulls. EVERY elk was going nuts. Even the cows. They started...
Will these storms we are having in Colorado push the Bulls low? I'm hunting 1st rifle in 76 and planned on them still being high but now I'm worried this weather will push them lower. I've read mixed opinions. Some say it takes a lot to push Bulls off the mountain and some say it doesn't take...
I've had a few toes go numb before. Happens every year and lasts til after the season. No clue why. My wife said she has that happen with high heels. Who knows
I drew a decent 1st season rifle tag this year in southern colorado. This is my first time with a rifle in my hand while hunting elk. I've always done archery. I just got back from scouting and saw a ton of elk above tree line. I expect this during summer and early fall but not sure what to...
