Fyi: Benchmade does not warranty their knoves if bought through a 3rd party. I called them up to get some small replacement screws for a bugout i bought and they basically said tough shit. They wouldnt even let me buy the screws or tell me what size they are.
Not buying another benchmade...
Ill say i would have loved to have a supressor on my rifle this year when I shot my 6.5prc twice on my bull. Ears were ringing for two days!

The lady, I, and our lab will be traveling to Texas, NM, and Arizona for about 6-8 weeks through Jan/Feb. We will be living out of our toy hauler, that we also work from, doing some boondocking and staying at state parks.
In search of cool suggestions on where to go, stuff to do, where to stay...
I buy the cured salami from Costco. But like stated, any cured salami will work.
Cream cheese, salami, and bacon on a bagel.
Vac seal and put in freezer. Transport to hunt location in cooler and they are fine for a 10 day hunt from there.

We were in Florida for 5 weeks and I discovered flounder spearing. We were in Carabelle on a private beach but Im sure you can do a little research and find some spots.
Essentially, you walk the shallows at night with a light and spear and gig the flounder while they are waiting to ambush...
Everyone loves gummy bears for instant energy but I prefer sour gummy worms. They are a level better imo.
-Bbq fritos (also great fire starter)
-waffle and almond or pb
-tortilla, pb, honey, bacon
-same above but on bagel

I use a cimarron but not in an overly wet area. We got poured on one day and it held up fine. Biggest thing is site selection and proper setup so there is ventilation. No ventilation and you trap the humidity inside and it wets out.

If you go to colorado or montana and cant find elk, you are doing something wrong. Go where people aren’t and find an area with north facing slopes with dark timber.

Ive slow cooked it before and still do sometimes. But when we have 2 elk and 2 deer each year our freezer gets full fast.
