I'm looking for a lightly used Seek Outside Goshawk 4800 backpack. Please PM me with what you've got and how much you want for it. Please send pics too. Thanks.
I'm looking for a lightly used Seek Outside 8-man Tipi that's still in really good condition. Please PM me and let me know what you've got and what you're asking for it. And please send pics. Thanks.
Cascade Mountain Tech Carbon Fiber Quick Lock Trekking Poles purchased on Amazon for about $35. They're quiet and lightweight. I've used them the past two years in Colorado on elk hunts. Saw a Youtube video to DIY a bino attachment to the top of one and a V shooting rest to the top of the other...
I have a bino holder that will hold a couple of my smaller items, and my orange vest has several pockets. I want to use the Merlin on the Goshawk for any additional organizational needs along with several small, medium and larger stuff sacks that may also be needed. Thanks for the intel.
Mississippi whitetail hunter that's been to Colorado the past 3 seasons elk hunting. I've been using Rokslide a good bit for information but I'm trying to get a little more involved in the website. Lot's of good intel here. Thanks.
I haven't been to those units but a buddy and I started hunting elk about three years ago in Colorado. And we both came from the Southeast hunting whitetails. Colorado Hunting Atlas has a ton of good information regarding elk in any unit. And the Elk Hunting University...
Right. It didn't sound like it would work great to call a bull in that late in the year like it does during the rut. But if I can use it just to locate the herd or a lone bull that'd be great. It's much easier to get within range if I have an idea where they are. Now I can evaluate the wind...
My buddy and I have been elk hunting past 3 seasons. We started using the GoPro the first year and I've upgraded to the GoPro Hero Session. We have been posting our hunts to YouTube. The stabilization feature helps out when you're walking a trail or just free handing. As mentioned earlier, the...
I'm a flat lander from Mississippi. A couple buddies and I have been elk hunting in Colorado for the past 3 years and we're hooked. Last year, I ran into a local guy hunting with his wife. He was cow calling and we were in 4th rifle season in November. He said he would use the cow call to help...
I’m looking to move from the Outdoorsmans pack to a Goshawk before this upcoming elk season. It’s a ton lighter. Any negatives on the Goshawk that anyone knows of? Thanks.
I'm from Mississippi so I'm not used to the winter in Colorado. What kind of snow conditions can I expect in mid-November in unit 55? Figure it's pretty deep in snow on the more mountainous portions of the Wilderness area in the middle of 55. How deep does the snow get in the drainages and down...
TopRut shows about a 54% success rate for 4th rifle season in GMU 55. Very little private land in the unit so I'm assuming most of that success is down where the Colorado Hunting Atlas shows the winter range. All those ATV's don't scatter the elk out of the area?
Gonna try to hit GMU 55 in CO this November in 4th rifle season. I'm a non-resident rookie elk hunter but we go all DIY and we'll head back several miles from roads. This will be our second try for elk. From what I understand, in 4th rifle season, best bet is to look for winter ranges on the CO...
I've been looking at the Redcliff from Seek Outside. Yours look very similar. Can you make custom sizes? PM me a price of one of your tipi's measuring around 11'x13' with a stovepipe opening please. Thanks.
