    3 pin on a slider is my style. Don't have to worry about moving it 40 yards and in, and if I don't have time to move it past 40, they're too keyed up to shoot anyway.

    I like the BT-X. I shoot CPXL's pretty much exclusively but if I was looking I wouldn't hesitate to get a BT-X if I had the cash to also top it with high end accessories. If you could find a used Insanity CPX you would have a very comparable bow for less money.

    Quiver and other questions

    Octane deadlock pro is a solid choice for a quiver. I have a fast Eddie. Great sight, I don't think you would regret it. The new XL looks good but it's not a lot lighter than a Hogg father. I put a 5 pin head on mine. If you're interested in black gold you can't go wrong there either.

    Lighting. You running a large peep? More crisp outside, fuzzy inside. Inside a sight light will really help also if your pins are blurry, that can cause a POI change.

    It's a blast. No pencil whipped scores, just a long distance launch fest with awesome prizes. I should be there all 3 days this year. Oh, and bring water, it's a pretty extensive trek.

    I'm gonna have to look into these deep six nocks. Broke all my factory injexion nocks and I'm going through the bohning nocks pretty fast. And it ain't no Hoyt.

    Jack3d is weak sauce now. Fda made them take an ingredient out. I use C4 now and like it. Just picked up my hydrate & recover. Container looked bigger online. Edit: just mixed up a bottle. Pretty tasty stuff.
